Let’s get into today’s topic. Do you know, you can now livestream your game play on YouTube. Yeas, you heard it right. The gaming world is now far better than the one I grew up with, and to make the gaming even more interactive the community has already created plenty of formats. One among them is the introduction on YouTube Gaming Platform. With the help of broadest mix of videos and games you can easily connect to a wide range of gamers around the world and live stream your game play all in one place.
One of the most unique feature of YT gaming app is that it is not only useful for the professional gamers, but also for screencasts of any other apps on your Android smartphone. Also, to live stream your game play on YouTube, you don’t need to have some external software or hardware. You can do it with a single click from your Android mobiles as well as your desktop.
Follow The Steps Below To Get Set-Up And Start Streaming On YouTube:
Step 1: First to begin, you need to download the app on your Android Smartphone. To install the app, head to your Android App drawer, and point to Play Store.
Step 2: In the search bar, type YT Gaming, or you can simply download it from the link given.
Step 3: From the list of suggested apps, click on the YouTube Gaming App.
Step 4: Click “Install” as shown in the below screenshot. (It’s just a 13MB file and the download will complete within a fraction of second).
Step 5: Once installed, open the app.
Step 6: In the homepage of the app, you will get a list of suggested games to add them to the collection.
Step 7: Select the desired games and click on Next.
Note: You can also add the game collections later in the app.
Step 8: The next page will let you select the gaming channels that you have already subscribed. Click on Finish to finish the basic setup.
Step 9: Now the setup part is done. To start the screencasts, follow the steps bellow.
Step 10: Click on the Go Live button on the top menu as shown in the picture below.
Step 11: Now you can choose to record the screencast, or to live stream your phone directly. Select the your option and also select the video resolution.
Step 12: Then now on the next screen the app will let you choose an app that you would like to stream. Initially it will show a list of gaming related apps but you can also select any other app with the “All Apps” link at the extreme bottom of the list.
Step 13: The recorder will now start streaming everything you perform including the incoming notifications. After you are done with recording, drag the notification drawer and tap to stop the session.
That’s it. Your video is now ready to share with the world.
